Using Buttons & Jewelry to Embellish Your Bags

Adding buttons to your finished felted bag is a simple to dress up your bag.  Below I have taken one bag and used several different glass buttons to dress it up.  I love to go to sewing expos, yard sales and antique shops looking from items than I can use on my bags.  I've even found some items at the local hardware store!  I also recently found a magnetic closure with a crystal, pictured on the bottom right in this group of four photos.  Page down to see other ideas.
 

However, you can embellish your felted bags by using pin, Christmas ornaments and even earrings...just look around your house and through your jewelry box.  Below are photos of the same felted bag embellished with some of the items I've mentioned here.
